Two LIFE-De-BAY demonstrators were successfully installed at pilot dismantling centres in Italy and in Spain. The equipped islands will be now tested and optimized to allow the recovery of very high amounts of vehicle materials and components (plastics, glass, filters) as much as also 99% of all ELV fluids in weight, in a much faster and more efficient manner than actual tools. The islands are able to record and communicate the recovered fluids to communal and regional authorities.
